Sorry for disappearing on you guys for the past four years or so, but I have a lot of varied interest in wargaming. While I was gone, I was playing a lot of Cold Waters, various wargames like Ultimate General: Civil War, etc. I'm currently in my third year as a PUBG addict, but I finally got the bug to shoot things down in the sky again. So, I've dusted off my CH Products HOTAS and ordered a new TrackIR 5 combo which arrives in a couple of days. I just purchased WOFF UE and PE, and have started the configuration of keys and axes. It's good to be back, and it's even better to see some of the old regulars are still here. Hope everyone is doing well!

If I remember correctly, the whole thing was your idea, you just made me do all the work... Yes, that's how I roll in life. I'm the idea guy, and I let others do the work. But tonight, I ran into a teensy little problem. It seems that my 20 year old CH Fighterstick has finally started having an issue. Specifically, it's spiking in its Y axis. It never did this before. But no amount of calibration seems to have helped. So, in my world this is called an opportunity to buy new hardware! So, I've just ordered a Thrustmaster T16000m FCS HOTAS, and I'll give those a whirl. I swear that over the years, I've purchased and tried almost every HOTAS product on the market, and I always seem to gravitate back to my trusty CH Products gear. But it seems that CH Products is washing their hands of their consumer market products, alas.

I have the joystick portion of the T16000 and have really enjoyed it, although we probably could have both saved a little money by going with last year's equally-good 15999 model...

Yes, I like the joystick very much, and am slowly getting used to the buttons and hats on the throttle. I had a little bit of a mea culpa moment, however. My new joystick had the same "spiking" going on, but then I realized that I was pushing the toe break down, and that was causing the spiking because it was bound to the Y axis! So, after unbinding that, everything is fine. Which means that there is nothing wrong with my CH FighterStick. But I think I'm going to stick with the TM16000 for now.

Oh yeah, I had that exact same problem before, except mine was inducing roll, which is why I didn't spot it from your description above. Glad you got it sorted though!
