One more month 'til release baby!

Hopefully.

Oh, and it would seem that the fashion of the 2070s will be almost as tacky as that of the 1970s.

I don't recall my platform shoes and flared jeans being 'tacky'? The height of fashion more like smile

This has been on my watch-list for ages but I'm still going to wait until I see some reviews/let's play videos. Just in case.

The game already went officially "Gold" a couple weeks ago so the release date is certain.

I can't wait for this game. I mean I can, and obviously have, err, what?

Oh yeah, this is the one game I've been looking forward to. I've sort of planned my other gaming around it so that I am not neck-deep in to some other engrossing game so that when Cyberpunk drops I'm on it. I buy very few games at release, but this is going to be one, unless the earliest word is troubling. But since it's CDPR I can't imagine that will be a possibility.

I hope this game is everything I think it will be. The trailers are awesome.

No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

No.

And I think the game will be pretty much immune to sucking, but will need a lot of bug fixing and tweaking given how ambitious it is.

Look at the waist sizes for the pants ad above (27" - 38")! And this is before stretchy modern vanity sizing (yes, it exists even in men's sizes which, unlike women's sizes, is *supposed* to be an actual measurement of something). I have enough older clothes to tell a difference.

Hahaha! The last time I had a 27” waist I was in elementary school.

I still wear a 34", and can't imagine less than 32" on full grown man.

High fructose corn syrup is a hell of a drug.

Anyway I've managed to hold off on looking at anything that's too revealing about the game, I want it to be be as fresh an experience as possible.

I'll be ordering my copy soon. I don't understand the people who pre-ordered this like over one year ago! Preordering won't make the game come out any sooner.

No, but CDP said they'd appreciate the funding and so fans did. Also, it was supposed to be released that long ago till the delay.

Yep I did the same thing with Elite Dangerous. I paid more for a game that wasn't due any kind of release for 18 months in order to:
Help fund a game I really, really wanted
Get all future DLCs for that one price.

I still probably paid slightly too much, but I don't regret it.

You see, the thing about gold, there is 14ct gold, 18ct, 24ct, or translated 58.5%, 75%, 99.99%.
That's at least how I explained it to a colleague that was expected to do a gold release while there was still stuff to be implemented/changed...

They are releasing on so many systems and I think that the problem is one of the new consoles. One probably has a real game breaking issue and they don't want to release the PS version and hold off the Xbox version. It would cause a lot of bad blood with the manufacturers and may even be contractually obligated to release at the same time. There has to be a big issue for them to have to change all the ads and many of the current ads have the wrong date now.
