Every time I do Quick combat, choose any allied plane, then head to head, then choose the enemy plane from the drop down, I get the following error:
Runtime Error 13
Type mismatch

Then WOFF closes.

I notice that when I choose the enemy plane an apostrophe (') appears in the altitude box. I tried deleting it, which I could but then get the same error above when I tied to click the "u" or "d" for it's altitude.

It was working OK before though SortofRed, if so what changed? Something is putting that character in there. Maybe from keyboard, (accidental, or faulty) or some other resident keyboard program (joystick program or other tool).

Just use the pull down and chose an actual height for both flights?

I thought the same, something maybe inserting the " ' " in the box. I did initially try the pull- down to change the altitude, but that would lead to the same error. In any case, for some reason it started working the next day, although no clue why. Thank you for your response.

OK glad it's working. Yeah no other ideas on that one.
