LOL this is priceless Another massive cheat creation site called “EngineOwning” is now become unusable in Call of Duty: Warzone.
Infinity Ward, alongside Raven & Blizzard, appear to have found a way to detect users who are using cheats from the ‘EngineOwning’ website late last week.
Since then, users who have been using cheats from EngineOwning have been banned.
One user said he wants a “refund” on the cheats and game:
Another user complained that the site should stop advertising as “undetectable” as now their accounts are banned.

The most fun I had playing Battlefield type games was with the various clans I had joined. Being on coms and utilising co-ordination against the general public was epic. Clan matches not so much. This one clan I was with would fall to pieces if it wasn't going well. I just used to listen to the accusations and shouting on TS and not say a word.

Eh, not all games are full of cheaters, Panzer. Supreme Commander's community via faforever is pretty clean, full of many older folks like us here on SimHQ. That may indeed be true but I was mostly playing first person shooters head to head and not RTS games. It may indeed be a very different case with the RTS genre. edit: Oh and I did play Supreme Commander 2 quite a bit but only cooperatively against AI opponents.

If you like RTS, you should check out faforever.com for the client for supcom 1. Great community, strong competition. I've never found AI in RTS games to be adequate and is too easy to manipulate and abuse. Humans, on the other hand, tend to be creative...
Also, Supreme Commander 1 is vastly superior to Supreme Commander 2.

Recently I have started to play a game called Squad.
Much more mature people on our networks, who believe in teamwork, and despise "campers". Can highly recommend.
Kindest regards,
AJ

The rampant cheating with online games is exactly why I dumped head to head (adversarial) multiplayer over 10 years ago. You sure they were cheating? There are people that have no life outside of gaming and have uncanny skills, or at least have all the maps memorized and are able to exploit all the quirks in the gameplay mechanics. Some guys have 4000+ hours invested in games that have only been around a few years, like Tarkov, I don't know about you, but that's at least 10X what I've put into any game, ever.

In the case of some games I was playing it was later confirmed by the publisher and developer that quite a few players were using "aimbots". However, you are correct to say that some of these players were hardcore and would play the game for hours every day. No casual player can compete with that.

The amount of playtime required to compete at the highest professional levels is very similar to what professional athletes must put in, especially in sports where a high degree of skill is required such as tennis. That sort of dedication produces seemingly superhuman playing ability.

I enjoy Post Scriptum and HLL, but I don't play much, but it isn't the type of FPS that brings out the cheaters.
