Axanar ended up being one of the last couple of things Richard Hatch worked on before he died.

Yep, would have been awesome to see him play a Klingon in the full movie.

Mehh...just not that nerdy. Good for you guys, just not me.
edit: The initial battle scenes with music sounded like some medieval Christian wedding or torture chamber music, not sure which.

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

I skipped that part
The effects creation is pretty fascinating though and the end result was very impressive.

.
Are you implying that you would never attend that summer camp somewhere in the Mid West where you can learn the Klingon language and dress up like a Klingon on a daily basis? I'm truly saddened.

I also lost track of this for a long time. It's possible that since the merger between CBS and Paramount, maybe the producers of Axanar were granted permission to make it as long as they don't make any money from it.

I think PM is right. They seem to be a nonprofit now and anything they sell goes to various animal shelters and other charities. Looks like they'll be able to finish it.

That's the good news. The bad news is that Richard Hatch is no longer with us.
