Hi,

Very impressed with this software, I'd like to find a solution to an issue. I use the mouse to move the POW, and I usually observe the runway, trees, position of the sea etc to make visual flight. When I move my head in the cockpit, some seconds after the poinf of view comes again to a center position, I'd like to keep it where I put it. Any way to "deactivate" this automatic center position? I don't see such ting in any other simulation.

Thanks. Fantastic work by the way.

Hi acce_2012 welcome.

If you look to your WOTR main installation folder, then look for \WOTRScenery\ShadersDX9 folder
there's an ini file

d3d8.ini

there's an entry

; Time in seconds before mouse look automatically returns to centered view.
MouseLookResetDelay=5

Change that delay to what you like. I can't rem if it's set to 0 if that disables it. Try it.

Thanks, it worked perfectly. Trying to test my plane (bf-109) I have another question, is the engine being damaged by bad piloting, I mean overtorque or overheating? Thanks

Thanks.

By the way, the number to edit this:

; Time in seconds before mouse look automatically returns to centered view.
MouseLookResetDelay=5

... should be more than 0, as the numbers refer toth e seconds before the view returns.

Hi, I've just broke my engine. Too much WEP engaging. To me, it was a fantastic issue. I'm enjoying a lot delevloper's work.

Glad you are enjoying WOTR fun acce_2012. Also bear in mind we have random mechanical failures in too. Obviously they are somewhat rarer in WW2 but adds a bit of spice wink

By the way for anyone else reading, we highly recommend TracKIR head tracking for use with WOTR for the ultimate immersion which will save you using mouse look.
