Hey Coot, this sim is very demanding and has a lot of warts. Having said that, I would also say this sim is amazing and will only get better Lost in weather More lost Mount Ararat, hmmm. Yes

Coot I'm still trying to figure the view system but hope to have it figured out soon This is taken near Salt Lake City The weather is awesome, I just turned my clouds up to high and once I've upgraded my video card I hope to crank it to 'Ultra'

I have to say, the more I flew in real life the more FSX bored me. It just never looked realistic enough. This looks incredibly good! Probably the first sim that almost captures the vistas and perspective you get when flying for real, and it makes me want to purchase a new computer just to run FS2020.
In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

I did upgrade my rig just for MSFS. Nothing overly impressive: I went from a GTX 1060 to an RTX 2070, an i3 to a Ryzen 7 2700x and upgraded my motherboard and power supply. I got fairly reasonable prices, what with the imminent release of the new super cards (1500.00 for a graphics card? Nope.), and I couldn't be happier. I'm getting 40-45 FPS on High-end settings and the sim looks amazing. So does X-Plane 11, which I will not delete due to the amount of money I've put into graphical upgrades (ORBX mainly).
MSFS is absolutely incredible. Yes, it needs to fix a few things, but I haven't felt this way about a sim since...well, FSX (after they fixed the initial bugs). If you're on the fence, take the plunge. I think you'll be glad you did.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." -- Ephesians 6: 12-13 KJV
