Can’t wait to see that animated engine in action. We’ll be discovering little touches like this for the next two years. So, how close are you to the release? Will I have enough time to spend my money on other trinkets before the next paycheque? (Psst ... Pol, the port side of the rudder appears to have the mapping shifted down - there is a white and brown artefact at the tip of it.) Lookin’ good!
"Take the cylinder out of my kidneys, The connecting rod out of my brain, my brain, From out of my arse take the camshaft, And assemble the engine again."
BTW the "mapping issue" on the tail of the BE2HD is actually on the original skin not the model mapping. Other other skins do not show that. - not sure that is correct - could be.

and a quick vid BE2c HD showing new engine, cowl, and various other improvements, moving engine parts, external vibration, pilot movement etc. Will try to post an internal one tomorrow, it is late now!

Here's another pic.
I did that one Pol. Are you talking about the black tip on the rudder? I can't tell by the pic. I think that's supposed to be there on both sides? I'd have to look at the original template.
I see it now... Looks like the rudder is mapped too high on the template. It looks like an end to a part of some sort. I'm at work, so I can't look at the skin.

Oooo, Pol that is nice. I was trying to zoom in and I realized I wasn't in the game. Darn!
OvS, I had a look at the skin. It looks like the tan paint didn't go all the way to the top of the rudder on that one side. The white and red rudder of the original template shows through. Good thing it's just that one skin and not all of the Albatros skins.

Ah Hellshade!! You have to know it is "Two Weeks"! How quickly one can forget!

I said I wouldn't... but why not... hahaha! (it's kinda like hanging out with an old girlfriend...just can't help it...hahaha)
First.. thank you to all the guys that sent me all this great info and books! Here are some of the results...
Never seen before in any WWI Simulator (game) to date... Full Jasta line-ups...loaded... and this is still without the new version of WOFF! Can't wait to see the new assignments and look of the new vsersion!
Jasta 19 - February 1917... key notes: Albatros D.II with "Di" logo - I discovered on page 32 picture 78 of Windsock 100. I suspect to have been Walter Dingle's mount of Jasta 19. Other pilots Hahn, Rahn, Henkel (not seen) are fictitious imagined using similar technique of the original Jasta artist. Jasta 23(b) - Feburary 1917 - key notes: Jasta 23 was the first unit to incorporate unit wide insignia. Flying LVG built D.II's will give them a totally difernt look. Jasta 16 flys them as well, along with a few others. The personal markings are all from actual books and descriptions. The forground D.II that is darker (Bruno Breitenbach) is actually stained and varnished. As LVG had suggested. This same technique is applied to many, but not all. You will see a lot of variation in the look of these planes... directly from page 35 picture 87 of same book.
Zoofa!
OvS
PS... ignore all mapping issues... that's because the models are not the new updated version... wait till you see those !!! WOW!!! 2 more weeks!!

You think you could add the LVG-style weights table? I can send you a psd file of one.
Done already! The font is not like that, but it's there. Send it anyway, I'll take a look... always appreciate the info. Still have my email?
Only the LVG has them, and also the LVG logo on the tail under the national insignia. I went with a three color paint style for the LVG as it was suggested.
