Two RED flags at Mugello. Again the Mercs are 1, 2, Albon is 3rd. Twelve cars still running at the end.
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

That was fun, and there was plenty of overtaking after all, around the outside of what I think is turn 1. DRS makes a big difference here. Mercedes up front once again, but that's what you get when you have the best driver/car package in the business. Red flags are not ideal, but these sorts of incidents compact the field and make for better racing in the end.
I see Seb got a seat for next year, Racing Point, or what will become Aston. It's a shame Kimi is in a car so far off the pace.

And the Miami Dolphins kicked off their new season in their very typical and expected manner! I think Cam Newton will do good in NE - as long as he has a healthy offense.

Kind of crazy race - I think that the track being unknown in the neuances to alot of the drivers caused the first red flag. They didn't fully have the track under their fingertips in where the narrowing of the track necessitated letting people past and so forth - Verstappen loosing power and dropping down the grid didn't help either. The second was because Bottas was an idiot - but did nothing illegal. They should change the rules to disallow that next year.

I still can't believe Florida has a hockey team. Hardly anyone goes to the games. They have 2. The Tampa Bay Lightning is a very good team, and seem to have good fan base. But the Panthers, who are not a bad team can't draw flies. A lot of the fans that attend are Canadian snowbirds. The NHL commissioner is very stubborn, and will not admit the failure that is the Florida Panthers. Hell bent on NHL expansion in the USA. And the Tampa Bay Lightning are Stanley Cup Champions. I am very surprised that the "bubble" experiment worked. Not positive covid tests the whole time.

And, Tampa is in the baseball championship playoffs. Now if they could only get people to show up for their home games....

I realize that but was speaking in general terms since Tampa Bay has been near the bottom of the list for home game attendance for several years now. Florida is simply a crappy market for MLB.

I don't think it has ever happened before that a city could win 2 major league championships in one year but Tampa Bay could possibly do so. They still have the ALCS and the World Series to win tho.

It's pretty rare but has happened. The Red Sox and Patriots a couple years ago, and if that doesn't qualify as same city then the Steelers and Penguins in '09. I went to college near NYC and went to both the Giants and Mets victory parades in '86. Hated rivals yes, but I wouldn't pass up a reason to party, back then. Still, Tampa's a mighty small market to pull this off.
