A decent balance between science stuff and drama. They could have called it, we want some of that "The Martian" money, too. Let's see, what worked in The Martian? Botany - check. Female commander - check. Slingshot maneuver - sort of check (it was planned but aborted). Use of Mars Rover units - check. Unmanned supply ships - check. Earth-side dirtbike drama - hah! Take that Ridley Scott! ABBA and David Bowie music - maybe next season?
The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

The amusing part is that "Another Life" will get a second season ... I was quite stunned when that news first broke but it just proves yet again that lack of quality still manages to find commercial success a times.

Netflix really pumps out some crap.
For me it's been a very mixed bag especially when it comes to science fiction. Some of the their original scifi content I have enjoyed quite a lot like "Altered Carbon" but some other stuff has been utter crap like "Another Life" which I have previously mentioned.

Completely unbelievable team, what idiot put them together? It is up to todays pc standards though.
Netflix really pumps out some crap.
Andrew Hinderaker is the creator if you are referring to the team in the story. I'm guessing that the producers also had a hand in it - the list is long and includes Hilary Swank. If you're referring to the casting, it's Carrie Audino, Corinne Clark, Jennifer Page, and Laura Schiff. I guess they do fulfil PC standards, but since the mission is a joint venture, they would have to get an astronaut from each country that is footing the substantial bill (PC or not).
The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

I think he refered to "Another Life" as we touched upon that.

I got through the Russian crapping on Hilary and the English guy being a colonial but the "let's feel sorry for the missing lesbian lover of/and the Chinese chick" ended it. It would be good to get through a story without all the social preaching. For my entire life Jimmy Olsen was a redheaded Irish kid but in a pc cultural appropriation he got black in Supergirl. Archie comics Riverdale took a whole 10 minutes for the gender confused guy to be trotted out. Some replies here say more about the repliers than the show, if you ask me, which no one did, so carry on.

Happily, after reading about it here, I will be lucky enough to not waste any time on it.

I have not seen it but based on what my friends have told me who did see it, I'm not surprised it was cancelled. Another series with a similar premise "Another Life" amazingly got renewed for a second season. I say "amazingly" because I watched the first season and it was mostly absurd trash.

Space Force didn't get a second season? Well, now we'll never find out why his wife went to prison!
