That is sad.

Well, it will be a space saver.
Way easier to dust.
No more spilled paint.

BUT....No more this:

It will really really, as shown in the bottom picture, be easier to dust though. smile

It defeats the purpose of working with ones hands. Building models, like making love, is something we should do in reality not virtually. wink

Will people question 'all very well, but does this enable one to build a real model' akin to the query, 'all very well, but does this enable one to fly a real aircraft?' in regards to flying sims.
Probably not. smile

My roomie sometimes after having watched me fly sims will say don't go thinking that this means you can really pilot an aircraft, to which I reply well if we are ever on a plane and the pilot dies we'll find out which of us knows how to fly

If it simulates poor fitting parts, bad lighting, bleeding fingers, knocked over paint, hours of sanding and blocked airbrushes...then it might be ok biggrin

LOL.

It will probably be just the opposite with an "auto-complete" button.

I know a lad who would like that sort of a mode. He is what i see as the end product of game achievements and 'trophy case' gaming. He just wants end game instantly, all of the best items in game, the most money etc. Thing is, he doesn't want to learn the ropes to get it, just have it. As soon as it is too hard, it's a bad game, stupid and unfair. I let him have a run on my iracing account, lasted about three days, Dayz...about 5 hours, couldn't handle permadeth, War Thunder, when i told him he was only fighting bots and should have played the tutorials as the players will be better he bailed. He doesn't do tutorials lol. It's a weird thing.

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet.
I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.
