That is crazy nuts! Tom Ellis is not right. His eyes are huge.

Tom Hardy is the obvious choice to replace the big elephant ears blonde guy.

There are odds going on it, don't know some on this list https://www.thecork.ie/2020/08/01/will-cork-born-actor-cillian-murphy-be-the-next-james-bond-007/

James Norton kiddish looking.

Well, technically Idris (47) is younger than Daniel Craig, so... :P Additionally, Sean Connery's age in his last movie was 53. :P But I get your point.

However, will a younger Bond really resonate with viewers? Movies are a frequent discussion at work and very few of my young coworkers have even seen a Bond movie. Would a younger actor even make a difference?

True but Craig was 38 when "Casino Royale" was released in 2006 and the last Bond film with Connery (Never Say Never Again) had a mediocre box office performance.

Never Say Never Again wasn't an official Bond movie though, competing with Octopussy in the same year (in which Roger Moore was 56).

To me, Idris Elba is the only actor that could pull it off. James Bond shouldn't be too young and I feel that most of the names mentioned in the list are.

As good as Idris Elba is he is not the right man for the job... Tom Hardy however would be my choice and a worthy successor to Daniel Craig, (who in my mind was the best James bond since Connery)

I think Idris Elba would have been great, but I do think he's too old to start at this point. Tom Hardy doesn't work for me, for some reason, and I think he's too short as well. I can't think of anyone off the top of my head that I think would be really good. Tom Hiddleston maybe? I think he might need to bulk up a little, but not too much - neither Connery nor Moore were particularly muscular.

I guess Connery lost his muscle mass pretty quickly because he competed in quite a few body building competitions during the 50's. Compared to Moore though Connery looked super buff. smile

Connery could never have competed in the mass-conscious body building of the 60's and beyond. Mass wasn't such a big deal when he did it.

No wonder kids these days are such pansies.

I will require my daughter to watch every single one before she's fourteen. Then she'll know just how filthy and sly us men can be. smile

Deep Faked Connery, set in the '60s and given a period looking visual filter.

Yes!

Using software to digitally paste Sean Connery over another actor. Here's an example: Burt Reynolds as James Bond:

That deep fake stuff gets real creepy. Here's Nick Offerman as every character in Full House: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUphMqs1vFw
