We'll see about that I guess. You'll close with a pair of 58s to nick it by a stroke. Probably.

Not only did I find the course challenging, and awkward, but the pin positions, especially in rounds 3 and 4 were difficult to get close to. Tucked behind bunkers, on the front or side edge and just diabolically placed. But it's a challenge nonetheless and that works for me.

Good golf Wigean, another one in the books!

I played the first two rounds at Summerlin. First round was going great until the 17th, where I made a triple. Oi vey

Second round was not as good and then I made a quadruple bogey on a par 4. The old snowman, the number 8. Oi-a-vey-a

Saved the second round with back to back eagles, but still not very good over all. It's your week I suspect.

Congrats with your victory DBond. Impressive as always.

I struggled with the greens on this course. I was also punished when trying to be more aggresive.

I know it pays off to be a little more defensive sometimes, but it is fun to try to catch up with you. smile

Good luck with the next!

Played the Saturday and Sunday rounds at Summerlin. Third round was good, had a super back nine, shooting 28. But that was really the only good nine I had in the tournament. It was a struggle and I think my streak is coming to an end this week. Just too many mistakes and poor results.

Good golf Wigean, another close one! You must have been kicking yourself, leading in to the the final round eh? Got away from you on Sunday. But good tournament anyway. Nice to see another new player, my recruiting efforts are paying off (barely). The newest new guy is good. Under par for the event which is good.

Played the new event at Sawgrass last night and struggled a bit over the first three rounds. Final round was good though. The par fives here are challenging. Good luck!

Haha. That was close.:)

Congratulations on your win.

Sawgrass will be fun. Have a good one.

Yeah, good golf Wigean. The recruiting efforts have been playing off and we had our best turn out ever! I hope more join up and have a good time. Would be nice to have a couple SimHQ'ers join up too.

I played the Thursday and Friday rounds at Pinehurst. What a diabolical course. The greens are raised and crowned. This makes keeping the ball on the green very challenging, and you have better bring your best chipping game since you'll be doing it a lot. Like chipping up on to a table. I ham-and-egged it around the first round, and then smoked the front nine in round two, before coming back to earth a bit. We'll see what the weekend has in store. Good luck!

Finished the tournament, the weekend rounds were good. Only my first round was poor this week. To play four rounds at Pinehurst and only make two bogeys is very satisfying indeed. This is a challenging course, especially around the greens. Puts a premium on your short game. The scrambling percentage is one to keep an eye on this week. It's inevitable that you will miss greens and getting it up and down is as difficult as any course in the game in my view. Maybe Riviera gives it a run for the money. I ended up using flop shots more than usual this week. Good luck!

Good golf Wigean. The newest new guy has won the last two on the bounce. We wanted new players, but not good ones lol.

That season is in the books. New season is up with first event at Lone Grove. I played all four rounds and did well enough. Two bogeys I think and quite a few eagles. Could have been more honestly. The par fives here are vulnerable. Good luck!

Good golf once again Wigean. You went low, but with the new guy around we might not be winning much. So, first tournament of the new season is in the books.

I played all four rounds at Sky Peaks last night and did well, but had a mediocre second round which will cost me. This is a very challenging course with gobs of elevations change. A shotmaker's course.Good luck!

Where you be, Wigean?

Good golf mate, I finally nicked a win since the other guy didn't play lol. I wish he had because I played well, shot a low score at a difficult course and wanted to see how I stacked up this week. Can't win 'em all. No, wait that's awkward in this context smile

Played the first two rounds at Hawk's Nest. This course is cool, like the sort you'd play on vacation when the wife is having her spa day lol. Made two bogeys in the second round having made none in the first and that killed me dammit.

You got to be kidding!

I am halfway in the first round. When I look at that picture I know I play for fun, not for a win.

Congrats with that round and also for the victory in the last tournament.

I have been busy with R/L stuff.

I will continue play of course. That last round of yours was just a fluke. biggrin

No. Well done DBond. thumbsup

Thanks mate

Every now and then, a blind squirrel finds a nut smile

It all just clicked and honestly I missed eagle putts on 12 and 16 by a hair. But I won't let that bother me lol. I chipped in on one of the last few holes to keep the steak going. What a round.

Good golf mate. Some very low scores shot this week. That good guy returned to steal my victory. And ramona improved by leaps and bounds.

Played the tournament this week at Payne's Valley. Following my usual MO I got off to a slow start, but picked it up as the rounds went by. Ghost is posted.Good luck!

The guy who won has a putting average of 1.22 putts per hole, which is outrageous. I'm putting like a star and am at 1.46 I think. How do they do it?
