New tournament up at TPC Twin Cities. I played the first three rounds and had some struggles. Doubled the second hole, and had some adventures on the greens. We'll see how the final round goes, but I didn't have a good back nine in the third round. Need to sharpen it up!

I finished this event, played well over the first two days, not so well over the final two days, but a number is posted. Good luck!

I was pretty happy with my play until half way in R2,
On a par 5 hole I started an unintentional swing when I should adjust a hook. (not the first). biggrin
Until then I believe i birdied evey hole in that round.
The ball ended up in the middle of the forest and I ended up 3 over par on the hole.
So R2 and R3 I screwed up. I am satisfied with the result in R1 and R4.
So again , consistency must be improved.

Tournament is not over, but DBond seems to be the winner. Again.

Still time to beat him though. smile

Ah too bad about the misfortune!

Thanks for playing. Next one up is Payne's Valley I think, which is the event I forgot to play in the last season. Good luck!

I played the first three rounds at Payne's Valley. Not too bad, pretty consistent. I'd like a couple shots back, but all sales are final. I'll finish the final round in the next couple of days. Good luck!

I`ve finished the first.

-7 with 3 or 4 bogeys. Not very consistent, as always.

Got one Eagle though. Tsk. smile

Closed with a 63. I didn't putt all that well this week I didn't think. But I scored the ball OK. Overall, two eagles and one or two bogeys. Eagles were hard to come by at Payne's Valley.

I really like this course, but then I like just about any course with big elevation changes.

Very nice course.

As usual you are outplaying me DBond. smile

If nobody else joins the competition you have another win.

Congrats and well done.

cheers

Thanks, I got lucky smile

Good luck in the next one. I doubt anyone else will join but I'll save the celebration until it is officially over.

I think I might have hit every fairway in this one? I'll have to check the stats now that you're done. But I bet my distance to pin was higher than usual. Had more trouble than usual being precise with approach shots, getting it close. 90-foot drops off the tee mess with club slection haha. Had a lot of long putts and those are my weakest part. Your long putt percentage is nearly always better than mine in these tournaments.

Yup, 100% fairways in regulation. I had 91%.

You were best on proximity to hole. 23 ft. I had 33 ft. That is my concern , I have to improve on that.

Your numbers are generally better than mine, but that`s ok. Motivation to improve. smile

Played Old Marina tournament last night, all four rounds. Rather shaky, and didn't putt well at all. Lowest one-putt percentage I can remember. So my posted total is rather low this week. Door's open! Good luck.

Old Marina is in the books, good golf Wigean. You out-eagled me this week, nicely done.

New event is up and I played the first two rounds. Had some struggles in the first round. This is a tricky course off the tee. Missed a bunch of fairways and greens. Had to scramble a lot. We'll see how it goes over the final two rounds. Good luck!

Played the third round but had more trouble than usual with micro-pauses. Usually every tournament I have four or five shots where the meter suffers a slow down and it affects my ability to hit it well. But yesterday it was happening more often, and unusually, while I am putting. So I'll put the final round on hold for a day or two and try again.

Not to worry DBond. You still have it.

I left a scorch, I mean ghost for you in the last round.

Not happy with my putting for the moment. Must be the club ... smile

Good luck!

I closed with a 63 in the rain and nicked this one. Good golf Wigean. I got it together off the tee over the last three rounds, but still missed a lot of greens. Made two eagles and three bogeys over the four rounds. Putted fairly well from medium range, scrambled well enough too. Missed too many greens but managed to limit the damage in most cases. This is a tricky course and a few mistakes are easy to make. Kept my proximity inside 20 feet which is always my goal. I had bogeyed the first hole in the first round which is a poor start, but not too bad the rest of the way. Good luck in the next one!

Played the first round. Pretty average result.

If you use my ghost it would be interesting to know what happened on hole 6?
Looked like I hit the flag, and I thought it was an ace.
But surprisingly I had to drop the ball on the green I made par.

OK, I will check it out and see if I can see what happened, but of course I'm watching from a chase cam, but should be able to see it. I should knock this one out in the next few days. Good luck!

Finished the tournament.
Hope my ghost is alive.

Average with some up and downs.
Last round was unusual. 4 Eagles in one round.
Happy with that.

Good luck DBond.
Fingers crossed that yesterdays celebrations brings you down to normal level today. biggrin
