You problably heard all the jokes about how 2020 is the worst year yada yada, and the only thing missing was an asteroid.....well we just missed one......barely

Bingo. That year marked the absolute peak of deaths caused by the Bubonic Plague in Europe.

And no, 1349 is still a hell of a lot worse than 2020 unless COVID all of the sudden starts killing off between 50-60% of the population.

If someone does make an "I Survived 2020' coffee mug (and I'll be surprised if there isn't a LOT of such merchandise available by November or December at the latest), it should look like a person wearing a face mask.
