I have an issue that pops up with too much regularity. My mouse pointer disappears and I can't get it back, meaning I can't click on my clickable cockpit!

It seems to happen usually when I scroll the mouse wheel to adjust the Helmet Mounted Display in the F-18, I will be doing so and suddenly instead of turning the knob the scroll wheel is now causing my viewpoint to zoom way out. And the mouse pointer has disappeared. Only way I can get it back is to restart the mission I'm in.

Any ideas?

There's a rather obscure bind which is sometimes a culprit when it comes to this, namely Alt+C, which is used to show/hide the mouse cursor. This is principally intended to be used with FC3 class modules, but it appears in full fidelity modules as well. When using the hidden mouse cursor, head control, including zoom, is relegated to the mouse.

Thanks. The issue has not been a factor much lately for some reason

I think they made some changes to how it works, as I can't make the cursor appear in FC3 aircraft anymore. A minor change which wasn't documented, probably. Glad to hear it isn't a problem anymore, though!
