Two states recognize it as a holiday https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victory_Day_%28United_States%29 And I agree with PM not all of have forgotten it and VE day

My father was a WWII Pacific Theater veteran. But just a few days ago on a Facebook group I follow, can't recall which one, some "youngster" posted a picture of his WWII veteran "great-great grandfather". Talk about your generational divide. My great-great grandfather was a Confederate Army veteran! Time is indeed "the fire in which we all burn".
