An easy to use program is Fusion 360.

Machot Spitfire Mk.IX drawings seems draw with Fusion 360, their throttle include even the "detent" (missing in some "professional replicas) on lever rail for bypass for engage WEP,

Its a MkIX throttle.Earlier one didnt have the third lever.Heres the MkV one..
For Drawings you use a CAD program to insert the original drawing or photo as a layer then trace over it,scale it and copy the CAD lines as a dxf file. This then can be imported into your 3D program to create the part as a 3D entity.Export as an SLT then load into an online store such as Shapeways..

The B17 center pedestal has been built by a friend of mine.I only did the handles for it.The reduction gearbox for the Db605 is for a static project here in Australia who also did the B17 pedestal.

So the collar turns with the wheel? does it turn an internal screw to adjust the pedal length then?
