Hi all!
some of you knows me from WOFF. And since today I have WOTR, too. Installation was without any problems. Then I did fly the first time with the 109 in Quick Combat. And from the first moment I could recognice, that the nose moves down, also with high speed. Then I flew the Spitfire and all was okay. With High Speed she climbs and climbs, one minute more one minute less, as it is typical for the wave-movement of dynamic stability, which every flyable aeroplane shows (without any trim). But the 109 wanted to move down. At the end I must always pull the stick a little bit.
Has anybody an explanation? What am I doing wrong?
Greetings!

Hey! I don't know the answer to this but just wanted to let you know that someone at least was looking at your post! Could it be a trim issue? Is auto mixture on or off? Do you have a twist rudder joystick still bound while using rudder pedals? Prop pitch? Those are just a few things that immediately popped into mind, hopefully we'll get you sorted. Welcome aboard!

Hi all!
some of you knows me from WOFF. And since yesterday I have WOTR, too.
I repeat my thread from the normal forum here, because it is more a technical problem, maybe … .
The installation functioned without any problems. But the 109 wanted to move down, even with full pitch-Prop. At the end I must always pull the stick a little bit.
Flight model is realistic, Joystick Thrustmaster, Auto mixture on. Trim is 0.0. And with these same settings I fly both, the spit and the 109. The spit shows a normal behaviour (see above: "... climbs, one minute more one minute less, as it is typical for the wave-movement of dynamic stability, which every flyable aeroplane shows (without any trim), but the 109 wants to move down.
So I can't imagine that the stick is the problem and I don't change settings between 109 and spit.
Has anybody an explanation? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for answer!

Hmm, maybe prop pitch? You'll get different rpms at different pitches which would effect your ability to keep the nose up? Hopefully someone that knows a lot more than me will jump on here or the subforum!

Hallo all,
sorry that I could answer not earlier, I was too busy the last 3 days.
And thanks for your postings to solve the problem, especially to you @Pol! It is, as you have written: "... the nose goes slightly down without controller Input ..." (slightly but clearly, clearly but slightly, as you want to see it); it's not dramatically fortunately. A very little pull is enough. I have already tried to compensate it about elevator trim. I belive it could be possible.
In my humble opinion it would mean in consequence, that the 109 needs an FM-update regarding to the dynamic stability after WOFF2020.
Sorry, that you had to merge my first thread in the general forum. I forgot to close the thread.
Greetings and nice weekend!

Ok, glad to hear it is at least workable! I'm sure your aware of this but don't forget that mixture and prop pitch combinations can have an impact as well!
