Would like to get back into :IL2, but noticed there are several mods to choose from, not all of which is compatiabe.

I tried the SAS BAT modes, but found that if you have a previous mode you may not be able to run the same mission in a newer mode.

Would like one that is most all encompassing.

Wrong forum. SAS BAT is for IL2-1946
IL2 GBS is the new series (includes Battle Of Stalingrad, Battle of Moscow, Battle of Kuban, Battle of Bodenplatte, and on the horizon Battle of Normandy).

And, imho, having had numerous "mega" mods, BAT by far is the most all encompassing (and also the largest (HUGE) and gives you the greatest collection of aircraft, maps, fixes, tweaks, add-ins, etc.) It is what I run on iL2 1946
