An interesting site with text, photos and nice maps.

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Been there, done the battlefield tour and done the same at Arnhem as well.
Also parachuted into the main drop zones on the 50th anniversary... I love all that stuff.

Ice Cold in Alex or Eating in ...
Liberation day in our town is 12th September and we have a street called that, every year we have had either the Welsh Guards or one of the Scottish Regiments over to take part in the remembrance, don't know if it is going to happen this year.

The Jagdpanther in the Imperial War Museum in London was knocked out and captured in our town.

It's not THAT expensive but a one or two week vacation to France will certainly not be cheap. Actually, the best time to go might be right after the pandemic ends since I figure most countries will be desperate to bring in the tourist money.
