A friend of mine is getting back into R/C racing and has a Futaba Magnum PM 2.4 Ghz radio for cars, it has a trigger for throttle and a wheel for steering. Without changing anything throttle has jumped to the Steering wheel and the Trigger does nothing. This happened after witnessing someone else at the track have the same issue in the middle of the race. My experience is with airplane radios and I have never seen anything like this. I guess no one else has heard of this either. Can't find a single reference in any RC forums.

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Well, I suggested everything I could think of and battery was the first thing, he said no it can't be the battery. Put it on the charger and it was the battery. The guy at the track bought a whole new radio, I bet it was his battery too.

I had a something like this happen to me but on a airplane were the rudder would slightly move (jitter) on it´s own. I found out it was due to one of the pc boards. One of the boards is almost on top of another one (don´t remember what they are called), I Isolated one of the boards with some tape and that did the trick. I also have a Futaba (T6J). But it was doing this with the default radio XK dh A600...
