80 years on from the Battle of Britain. The Beeb podcast is about 3h in total.

The small bit spoken by Spitfire pilot Geoffrey Wellum was endearing. He said something to the (badly paraphrased) effect of "Nobody wants a medal. What we want is to be remembered because that includes all of the pilots who were shot down and didn't get a medal but deserved it."

Spitfire: The People's Plane
Before a plane could save a country, the people had to build it. This is the story of a beautiful and deadly icon of resistance, built and flown against extraordinary odds.

Interesting but extremely short bbc reel on a girl mathematician who helped solve an issue of getting 8 guns into the Spitfire. I need to find the podcast and give it a listen.

Battle of Britain: The schoolgirl who helped design the Spitfire

Meet the young mathematician who helped design the Spitfire, the iconic aircraft that took part in the Battle of Britain, which started 80 years ago today.

Hazel Hill helped her father do the calculations that meant Spitfires could be built with eight guns instead of four. Many believe this made a big difference to the outcome of the Battle of Britain.

'The Schoolgirl who Helped Win a War' will be broadcast on the BBC News Channel at 13.30, 17.30 and 20.30 on Saturday and 10.30 and 16.30 on Sunday. It will also be available on BBC iPlayer.

edit...found the 25min podcast. site says it will only play in UK. i have the iplayer on my phone so i will have to check it out this afternoon.
