The WoTR forum is pretty much dead. I've been having some serious issues getting the sim to run and support has been decent but unable to help.I am hoping someone in the crowd might have the answer.

My issue is the game crashes when I go to start a mission (sometimes it will let me fly but that is 1-10 to 20 times. The game will then crash when I go to end the mission and not load back in to WoTR's menus".

The error is for "Outcomes File Not Found!"

I also get an error related to a config file due to the trademark symbol used for my racing pedals that I'm trying to use as rudder pedals.


Things I've tried:
1. Running in Windows 7, 8 compatibility for CMS3 and WOTR
2. Running as Admin for both .exe's
3. Clean installs with antivirus off
4. Different install directory
5. Contacting Support
6. Trying almost everything in the FAQ.

Has anyone had a similar issue and if so, can you share what may have fixed it?

No idea. Support is pretty bad for this game, try e-mailing them. If that doesn’t work, try to ask for a refund.

Support is not pretty bad, you seem to be popping up having a go in various places FAA_fan saying this, our support has always been commented on being excellent so not sure where this agenda is coming from.

Racingfan, looking through I see we were discussing at length in support via many emails (unlike FFA_fan suggests) and you are now up and running as of the 10th June. I think this post was missed for some reason, but as always support is quicker via email.

I just wanted to say FAA_Fan is wrong. Support worked with me via multiple emails and we found a few things that fixed the issue..

I had to remove a copywrite symbol that was in the USB name of my G29 Racing Pedals. This caused an error in game--hopefully Logitech patches this but I doubt it and the Dev of WoTR is aware but does not thing there is anything he can do.


Then we found the secret to getting my pedals to work is using vJoy or UCR but having the virtual device have a TON of axis and buttons. Even if I only used the one axis the pedals were on, the game did not recognize them. But as a full virtual joystick with only the axis mapped. It seemed to work fine.
