from Mark Felton...at least It's news to me.

Seem the Brits did a very successful aerial "hit" on the Command and Staff of Panzer Group West in Normandy on 10 June, 1944.

42 Tiffies amd 72 B-25's on a single Chateau! Certainly sucked to be them on the wrong end of that.

As much reading I did as a kid, was really surprised I'd never heard of that, at least that I recalled.

Agreed, interesting subject for sure.

Just noticed, interesting pic on the YouTube link.

A Fallschirmjager and two SS officers, plus an enlisted SS...have to wonder where.

edit: Maybe an SS CAMO Smock, not sure now. Looked like Fallschirmjager rank badge...

I am surprised you didn't know of this. Well know in 'Brit' ww2 history.

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

I'm always learning. This is new to me.

Feminists are so used to preferential treatment that equal treatment seems like discrimination.

Never heard of that raid before, so I learned something today smile
It would make a good single player mission now that the Tiffy is coming!

Nixer, thanks for posting that very informative video. I've read about WW II for over 40 years, but this is the first time I've ever heard of this.
