Well.....just when I thought I knew EVERYTHING....landed home and ignored the shell hole decals on the field. Plane stopped dead on top of one, didn't burn or pilot die...but an ambarrassing note from ops that I'd destroyed my aircraft. Yet another wrinkle in my arse. Cheers....gaw

Yep, happened to me a few weeks ago.

Never approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear or a fool from either end.
