It doesn't matter what device i'm on. S8, S10, PC. I'm sure i've griped about this before and it cannot just be me with the issue.
Update bookmarks, clear cache, etc. Many days it's a time out for a few attempts and after a while i make it here like an old beaten sea dog fighting through a wild storm in a leaky fishy smelling trawler looking for a wind free cove.
Other days i zap in like Donald Campbells Bluebird...the good one.
Whenever, which is weekly, i experience the issue, every other site i go to is fine, except here. What gives?

Yep, happens to me quite often too. No matter cable or WiFi, no matter Windows or iOS.

That explains it, International cabling whether under sea or Sat. is lagging. To much use. Same here.

With everyone out of school and work, the systems are starting to show the strain.

To Many Zoom or what ever video chat you use, sucks up bandwidth big time.

I noticed it earlier too. It’s server side, not your personal connection. Either some server/database maintenance or perhaps bots slowing things down with too many connections at one time. Could be server bandwidth has been reduced to save expenses?

To Many Zoom or what ever video chat you use, sucks up bandwidth big time. Nope I can be using messenger, have youtube playing, several other sites going and easily open plenty more with near zero delay. SimHQ and i'm back to growing a salty beard at least once and frequently more times a week. For a long time now. We have four gaming pcs in the house now, mine, my daughters new one, son and daughters boyfriend. All mp gamers mostly, then add the mum in the room watching netflix or hulu and all is good. We do over a thousand gig a month on average when i checked about December last year with three pcs.

SimHQ is the most iffy site I visit, cable, wireless, different networks, no difference. But it's always worth coming back to.

I am not of the instantaneous gratification generation so if it takes a few moments to load, it is no big deal.
At times tho it does not load, so I just go to another site and come back. It usually loads with no problem.
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Hit and miss here. Sometimes slow or won't load at all. Other sites always fine.

Even with Adblock, I get the occasional unable to connect to http 90210 whatever....for hours. 100Mbs cable PC.
Sorry but the ads made it impossible to even use the site for me a couple of years ago, so I got Adblock. It occasionally causes me trouble elsewhere, more so lately, but glad I have it. I would happily donate $10-$25 a year to the SimHQ anti-ad plan if that is what it takes.
Really just not sure what works anymore or who is in charge??? Sad really, lots of history here...

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.
