is there a difference in them ? i had it on steam silk smooth, ultra 4k, 60+ fps....i tried their own standalone beta to try the free month of planes, and it lagged as hell......i though it was just the new maps, but the default one was making my card #%&*$# bricks.......so was it because it was a beta or their version is worse than the one in steam

Prob check what nvidia settings and DCS ingame graphics settings Steam version was forcing.

Then compare to nvidia settings and DCS ingame graphics settings you use for stand alone version.
