I am not using nor have ever loaded his mod?

Hmmm - will try dropping all my settings this evening to see if that has anything to do with the m key kick out

Manitou, if you run only the consolidated mods and make sure that the facilities mod you choose is the same year your pilot is flying with you should not have any problems with the "M" key.

Keep in mind that there is a conflict with the global layer in Xjouve's mod so dont try to run both together.

Jjj65 says his RPA mod is fine.

If you follow the above recommendations you should be good to go.

Thanks Robert – yes that is the case

I can successfully run just The consolidated mods and the map Function works fine

If I try and add the RPA mod for realistic airfields that is when the problem presents - it sounds like others are having success Running both? and so I am just trying to figure out how to run both of those as others are As I would like to do that too if possible

The added information about ongoing adjustments for compatibility with xjouves global layer mod isn’t of concern for me directly right now as I don’t have it loaded and don’t use it

But I am still trying to figure out why my computer is presenting the map kick out when I have both the consolidated and the RPA mods loaded apparently in the correct orders

Will keep tinkering – thanks again all
Regards Ron

Jara, just an fyi i sent you an email with the mission log - thanks for looking into

curious - i noticed that when flying out of my home field first without rpa loaded up - and then again with it loaded in - the airfield buildings were considerably different

could this be a clue about the global mapping ...? or does rpa significantly change the layout of hangars and other associated buildings from stock along with airplanes and types etc?

i took a screenshot of each which i could post if needed too.

regards, Ron

Hi Ron, just received your mission log and checked it. From your log it is evident that your mods installation is corrupted, because WOFF can not find many airfield files taht are part of (I suppose) Consolidated Airfields Mod:

airbase_aizelleshameau_1,
airbase_aizelleshameauext_1,
airbase_afilescampext_1,
airbase_aizelleshameauext_2,
airbase_afilescampfarm_1.

These files are missing in your WOFFScenery/Facilities/Airfields folder and this is the reason of game crash. Consult, pls, with Robert Wiggins what mod these missing airfield files are part of.
BTW, have you installed all necessary mods required for RPA as described in attached Readme file?

Hi Jara - thanks again

i beleive i do have all mods installed per the read me files - maybe i am missing something but seems pretty straightforward

only mods i am running are

tracer mod with smoke
consolidated mod 0 latest version ... i think
consolidated mod 1 1917 'full trees' latest version ... i think
consolitated mod 2 latest version ... i think
consolidated mod 4 latest version ... i think

and then i load in your rpa mod ... again i believe latest version

all through the jsgm app

and using the latest mission editor, and latest multi mod

mods in that order

i have no idea how the consolidated mods installs could be corrupted as i always load them through jsgm

i must have done something wrong - maybe robert can weigh in too

thanks gusy
regards, Ron

Manitouguy, correct me if I am wrong, but everything runs fine if you are not running JJJ65's RPA. Is this correct?

If so, I will have to dialogue with JJJ65 as there is likely a discrepancy between both our mods.

yes Robert that is correct - all runs fine if i do not load the rpa mod from Jara.

when his is loaded as mentioned before, hitting the m key kicks to mission end screen, and unless i unload all and reload again through jsgm, sometimes also gives an error and won't load next mission when i try

then, when you disable the rpa in jsgm but leave all your other consolidated mods loaded, next flight starts with the map screen open, but you can close it and then it all works fine - but that is without his rpa loaded.

JJJ65 if you have read the last note from Manitouguy, please PM me. I am sure between us we can find the problem

Just wondering...
You have mods 0, 1, 2 and 4 installed, but no mod 3. Don’t they all need to be installed for the whole thing to run correctly?

Full of it - as I understood it the threes are a couple of beautiful custom air fields and areas but not necessary to be loaded - so just trying to keep things minimal and simple to begin with

Rest assured I will load them up so I have everything running Tickety boo

I am sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong
Cheers Ron

manitouguy, can you check that you have properly installed Izelhameux and Filescamp addon airfields? They should be located at xx:\OBDSoftware\WOFF\WOFFScenery\Facilities\Infrastructure\Airfields in form of xml files, e.g. "airbase_afilescampfarm_1.xml" and so on. I am sure these files are missing from your installation and that is the reason of WOFF crashes. These files are not part of RPA, but Consolidated airfields mod, however, they are necessary for RPA (and WOFF) to work properly. It is quite possible you do not have the latest version of necessary (Consolidated...,) mods.

Manitouguy you might consider delering the consolidated mods and re-downloading them again just to be sure you have the latest and that the issue is not due to corruption.

Keep us informed of your progress.

maybe it is time to do a full re-install of WOFF PE as well

if i do that - all i would like to save is my joystick settings

if i recall, is there something i do to save those before i use the 'uninstall woff' in the toolbox

sorry a bit off topic but at a loss as to why the map kick out is occuring with rpa

regards, Ron
