Yes, I'll start the series this weekend. I'm pretty excited about it.

Looked too woke to me. I'll probably pass until I hear otherwise.

Can you provide some details? You can just PM them to me if you prefer.

I had not interest until I saw Goggins name..... now I'm intrigued.

Just the vibe I got from the trailer. I'm extra skeptical nowadays until proven nothing to worry about.

Didn't get that impression myself - just a very good homage to the lore and a wacky Goggins. Give the first episode a try!

A quick addendum to my most recent post...

-- RaceRoom. This is another of the racing sims in my stable. Having grown a little disillusioned over AMS2, I've switched back over to RaceRoom. It's better suited for how I play, which is mostly hotlapping for leaderboards since it's too hard to get a race together with people you know.

This sim is 'free to play' but the free stuff is limited and most of it costs money. But its a great sim, with good physics, feel of the road and glorious soundscape.

No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

I’m playing Ultimate General : Civil War. It’s something I’ve pulled out and dusted off to see if I can improve on my play. I am trying to improve on some of the techniques that I wasn’t good at. I’m still wrestling with supply/ammunition. The group orders was something I had pretty much ignored and am going to see if improves aligning units in frontage placement. Doing it individually often left gaps or had goobered-up unit facing.

When I get better I am going to try the hardest setting. Had only gone with the middle setting before.

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.

35 minutes in, no wokeness detected, basically. So far so good. Wife said, "Why does this have to be so gross?"

We stopped there because it was time for her to go to bed. I'll watch more later. smile

I'm hooked on Fallout (not the game). Goggins always delivers.

A guy walks into a bar and hears two women speaking in a British accent. He asks, "Are you ladies from England?" One says to him "No, it's Wales, you idiot!" So, then the guy says, "Okay, sorry. So, are you two whales from England?"

UG: CW Is pretty neat. Hopefully UG: American Revolution will be on Steam soon, you can still get It now from their home site. If you like that type of warfare, you might want to check out what the folks at Histwar do...

They actually make the best games for this type of warfare.

The series gets better on the last three ep. So right when you´re starting to have fun, It´s over and you have to wait for the next season, oh well...

Add to that Book of Travels, and my usual sim racing.

Currently playing some Star Citizen. I favour the environment suit as I often find myself in cold conditions, but that suit type is bugged (of course) which means I can't see my UI to do basic stuff, it's clipped at the bottom from the bulkiness of the suit forearm. (The UI is a hologram that is generated from a watch-type bracelet.)
The workaround is to play as a female, so the forearm is slightly less bulky, and does not clip the UI.

Soooooo, ponytails on I guess smile

The big puffy one?

That had a bug with the helmet where when you sit in a cockpit and are using Track IR, your view clips through the helmet because the visor won't turn with your head.

I've never had a reason to have a suit that lasts long outside. Are you ROC mining?

Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnought. I think there's some shenanigans with how the economies run, and it's got some other little quirks, but the naval combat and building you own ships is too much fun to worry about the rest of it too much.

War Thunder, it's free and I know a bunch of people that play it.

More Cyberpunk 2077 because it turns out the hardest difficulty is way more fun than whatever default one I was playing on earlier.

And in Star Citizen
Some surface level mining, cave exploration/search missions, surface bounties all require suits. Also, some ships are weird, the turrets of the Hammerhead and Orion being exposed to whatever temps are exterior to the ship also require suits.
The other workaround is it only covers up the first couple buttons and you can rebind those to whatever screen you need to pull up. Or just use medium armor, you then get the bonus of moving way faster. Not as good temperature protection though.
