I've always been kind of intrigued that you can import your endgame of Crusader Kings into Europa Universalis, play through that then import the endgame of that into Victoria, and supposedly the endgame of that into Hearts Of Iron, for a marathon of complex strategy. I never heard of anyone doing it though.
"They might look the same, but they don't taste the same."
I did one, I think I was Aragon in CK2, and imported it to EU IV. Crazy run, with a wild map. As soon as I got a handle on EU IV I started doing nothing but ironman runs, so the save converter was out. But yeah, it's a pretty neat trick for those of us that own a number of Paradox games.

I don't know of anyone linking all four games that way, but I know plenty of people that have linked their CK2 to EUIV. and a handful that have gone on to link that to Victoria. I think a lot of that has to do with how much smaller the player base for Victoria is though. I know I bounced off it and couldn't get the hang of how much different the economy and infrastructure seemed to work in that one.

Rather than start a new thread for two older games some of you have already played -- just some news relative to the two games I'm currently involved with:

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla/ Crossover Drops Tomorrow, Dawn of Ragnarok Confirmed
First up, we have the first Assassin’s Creed Crossover Story, which will see AC Valhalla’s Eivor meeting up with Kassandra/Alexios. The free DLC will actually span both Assasin's Creed Odyssey and Valhalla, with a new story for each Canadian-developed game.
Unlike the Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories, Dawn of Ragnarok will be paid DLC (a price has yet to be revealed), but that’s justified considering it’s going to be the size of a full standalone game.
Interesting to see if my "all in" $120 version (Retail price -- I paid under $50 Black Friday) of Valhalla contains the new pay-for DLC. The coming big add-ons/DLC were said to be included in the $120 version I have.
Edit: Downloading -- 5GB download for ACOdyssey and 78GB for ACValhalla -- does not include major DLC planned for March 2022.

[From an article] Last week I asked Ubisoft about Kassandra's future, and whether she could serve as a figurehead for the franchise going forward. "Spoilers! That's all I'll say," producer José Araiza told me. "You really have to play the crossover story to figure out why she's there, where she could go next. So yeah, once you play it, I think you'll have the answer to your question for sure."
FWIW AC Odyssey: From more reading. AC Odyssey is well thought of -- and Kassandra in particular is considered special (note, its not her brother who is special -- its her -- so, one should play as her to get the most out of it, they say).
Being virtually an immortal at the end of Odyssey (and well liked by players), she may cross over hundreds of years into other Assassin's Creed stories besides AC Valhalla. Thus, I'm dropping back to continue my current Odyssey play-through with the intention of grinding through all of the content and add-ons -- including this latest one tying it to Valhalla. We'll see if I can hang in there. ~90hrs in and level 45 so far on this play through (600hrs total in-game over the years) -- I imagine I'm not half done.
Shot down my first Huey player in a Hind yesterday in DCS. Feels good. Punk came up behind me and opened fire with miniguns while I was hunting tanks. A little while later I was hunting tanks again and saw another punk shooting rockets at a buddy and blew him off his arse with my cannon. I never figured my first "official" air to air kill online pvp in DCS would be in a chopper. I had an unofficial one a few weeks ago when I was in Syria floating in tiny nooks and crevices and a Gazelle happened past me and I wasted him with guns but he pulled the plug so the kill didn't count.

I'm flip-flopping. Was playing AC Odyssey, then AC Valhalla, and recently back to AC Odyssey -- as noted above.
Titan Quest Anniversary Edition just had an update that caught my eye. So, set ACO and ACV aside for now and started TQ AE.
At level 17. Just entering Athens Catacombs (for you TQ aficionados). Normal Difficulty. I play just to stay occupied and watch the story unfold -- fighting is not key to me.
Not modding/cheating, yet -- but, "unbeatable" due to a lucky weapon drop (better than average throwing dart) that got my build started on the right path. TQ has never been this easy (that would turn-off some folks).
Heck, (without cheating) 660000 unused gold on hand, 9 unused attribute points, 6 unused skill points. The Heroine can clear a small mob in roughly 5 seconds plus a Boss in just a few more seconds.
That's the way I like it -- quick kill and move on in the story line -- the Heroine is a Goddess. Nothing special though -- no doubt many aficionados have done better at higher difficulty.

I would GLADLY pay $60 for a remastered Klingon Academy with current day graphics. KA is one of the absolute best tactical space combat games I've ever played and the story cut-scenes were very well done.

That's how Titan Quest seems for most builds, until you get to Typhon at the end of the original game. If your gear or specs aren't up to snuff he will humiliate you badly.

I would too. I loved KA. Played the crap outta it with my Voodoo 2.

Finished "Original Game" section of the TQ series. Normal difficulty. Had 26 Attribute Points left unspent at the conclusion. One specialty -- no specialty points left.
Having played before, I remembered Typhon as being one who killed me a couple times. I went into the fight literally scared -- I did not want to die (I had died once in the first "chapter", by accident -- two deaths and I lose interest in the playthrough and start over).
He was easy. Just ran in circles around him and occasionally hit him with a strong spell (as they regenerated).
This was the most powerful Heroine ever for me in several TQ playthroughs -- many ended relatively early from lack of interest or premature deaths. In this build, for nearly every enemy, I only have to run around them (or a crowd of them) and the "always on" spell that radiates death and my "pet" would kill them.
Just lucky this time. I actually figured out a good build. I assume 10s of 1000s of TQ players have already done better. But, it was fun to do it

Just finished my final campaign in TW: Three Kingdoms last night (cooperative campaign) and then uninstalled it after a great 2.5 year run. I put close to 1,200 hours into the game so needless to say I think I got plenty out of it.

F1 2021 (excellent) Forza Horizon 5 (good fun) Grand Theft Auto Online (I still have fun with it, but ready for the next one) Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 (good game but so far I prefer Contracts 1) Football Manager 2018 (before the UI went purple)

Lately I've been scratching my flight sim itch with DCS F/A-18. Carrier ops, AA, AG, it's got a lot to offer, and in VR it's pretty amazing. I've got it running pretty well now, I wound up reinstalling windows and it made a huge difference in performance.
Another game that has my attention right now is Factorio. It's got that "one more turn" kinda feel (well, it's not turn based, but you know what I mean.) If you haven't played it, it's a lot of fun - it's an RTS, no wait...it's 4X, no wait...it's a puzzle game....
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as "bad luck.” -Robert Heinlein
