Continuing with Mass Effect: Legendary Edition ME2.
Still grinding every Assignment and Plot quest. Attempting to check every planet in the Galaxy, every room in every building, etc. I have 40+ hours game time -- plus added modding time.
I need to conscript one more Party Member. So far, so good

Glad to hear you have been enjoying it. I just started ME 3 on Saturday and I've slowly been remembering characters and plot points that I had forgotten about.

I just acquired a little gem from Epic Games for free this week called "Void Ba$tards". Part Comic Book, part Video game it's worth checking out. I played it for a couple hours and it was fun and engaging.

My current rotation:
DCS IL-2 Mass Effect 3 Fallout 76 Borderlands 3 Arma 3 TW: Rome 2
“Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.”
Still playing Hunt Showdown. I'm a sucker for horror games, zombie shooters, MP FPS and Weird West genre. It's amazing... if you like those things combined. There is a new event coming up that adds Native American characters and weapons.
IL-2 Tank Crew IL-2 Great Battles IL-2 Flying Circus Rise Of Flight tried to get into WOFF BH&H II twice so far but keep having a hard time getting used to the FM, want to like it as I realy want a good SP Career experience.
Got American Truck Sim and ETS2 for when I need a break
You take it easy.. And have a nice day
Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out shouting "Holy sh!t...What a Ride!!"

Stopped playing Mass Effect: LE ME2 a week ago -- for now.
Ordered a "sale priced" AORUS FV43U 43" 144Hz 2160p HBR3 gaming monitor (replaces the $280 TCL 43" 4K TV I've been using the last couple years). I'd like to finish ME2 on the new gaming monitor.
They've got my money. Hope I can actually "see" (not just "measure") a positive difference
First, I hope to get it. A week ago, Amazon promised mine in three weeks. But, Amazon is now showing "Currently unavailable". Amazon usually comes through. We'll see.
I had fun in a DCS Liberation flight yesterday... Successfully completed a SEAD mission against all odds in the AV-8b, even downed a SU-34 with guns after exhausting heaters with numerous Mig-29s in pursuit and practically zero friendly BARCAP assistance, only to make it back to my carrier and accidentally press the throttle idle function... shutting down my engine.
At 800 feet altitude...
With only 300 knots airspeed...
When doing a ramp start, the time the engine takes to spool from zero to twenty seven percent never dawns on one as a lengthy period of time. The long drawl from the spool up to actual operating parameters of seventy plus percent while braking before takeoff is routine. But when floundering for altitude with airspeed approaching stall speed and a carrier deck beyond arm's reach...
Well... that can turn into hell, real fast.
Long story short, I managed to do an air start with 100 knots IAS and 200 ft altitude to spare, nozzle down, regain control of the airframe and somehow still managed to plant the bird on the deck with only maybe thirty to seventy feet of roll.

Wow, nice job Blastman. I don't have the Harrier module yet but maybe one day I'll get it.

The AV-8b is basically an A-10 with half the ordinance, can land on a dime, evade missiles, shoot down planes, has a fancy RWR on the HUD and hauls ass. For me this is the perfect combination. I'm a viper pilot through and through, but I never was that good with the A-10. The AV-8b fixes this.

Lots of Grim Dawn the last few days -- restarted ~6 times -- played to second riftgate 4 times covering all the territory in between.
Used Grim Dawn to test two HTPCs I built (one new, one old). And my new Gaming Monitor noted above.
With all settings on Ultra, the AMD R5 5600G APU (built in GPU) played Grim Dawn at 2K resolution with a smooth 30 FPS. Not bad for a $260 APU (CPU+GPU). Entry level gaming. With a few minor settings turned down (but much still on ultra), it was 50 to 60fps at 2K (1440p).
The new 43" AORUS Gaming Monitor was visibly better than the inexpensive 43" 4K TV I've been using. It gave me 80+ fps in Grim Dawn at 4K all Ultra settings (and was 144fps momentarily). It was not WAY better than the TV -- just noticeably better. Heck, the TV did 90%+ of the job. Now, I'm in the 98%+ range.
All that Grim Dawn was fun. I'll be getting back to Mass Effect soon -- I stopped to wait for the new Gaming Monitor.

Icarus beta, Dean of Dayz new project out of Rocketwerkz. Minecraft in space with survival, permadeath and session based time limited drops. Up to 8 peeps coop gameplay but limited to 4 until after beta. 2 months of beta weekends with different biomes, events, challenges etc to decide if it is worthy or get a refund. No brainer for me.
A mate and i did about 15 hours this weekend, some hilarious moments. Built a structure, had storage, oxygen generator and some other stuff after 7 hours work across two sessions.
Cooking meat outside and stepped in the fire, panicked, ran inside, set the structure on fire, a massive deer ran in and caught on fire, the forest caught on fire...absolute chaos.
Decent gameplay, graphics are nice, has its moments where it really shines, some other stuff is a bit average, easy building, snap, rotate, angle, choose window/door/wall etc. Tech tree, talent tree, nice ui. Hoping for a good beta ride.
Angry Birds 2 on my iPhone. Dang it, I have an X-Box One X with several new-ish games that are just sitting there unplayed but I keep getting busy with looking at YouTube and other streaming services. I've got to find that special game that will pull me in.
The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

Jumped to replay of "Assassin's Creed Odyssey" from "Mass Effect Legendary Edition" trilogy play-through (played most of ME2 so far and enjoying it).
Currently have 328 hrs in Odyssey play-throughs and 92 hrs in MELE (plus hundreds in the older individual versions).
I made the switch because I have a new gaming monitor (my first true gaming monitor) and Odyssey has more varied and realistic graphics to see. It helps that Odyssey is an outstanding RPG (to me) as I play every side quest and turn over every stone (figuratively speaking regarding stones). But, it plays differently each time because I "take a different path".
I have all the Assassin's Creed games except one (most bought on Steam super-sales). Paid full price for Odyssey and upgrades and don't regret it. I'm holding off on "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" based on reading a lot about the story-line. I'll wait for a dramatically marked down super-sale price.

I have not played any of the Assassin Creed games but I am curious about them. I may pick one up during the next Steam sale.

I've tried a few of the AC games and the only one I put any real time in to was Black Flag. I had fun with the naval side, sailing the seas, engaging in combat and singing sea shanties. They're good games but not really my cuppa.
No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

They morphed over time. They were not RPGs. They had a story. But, one was not "playing a role". I did not much care for them -- never finished more than 20 hours or so of any -- until "Assassin's Creed Origins".
"Assassin's Creed Origins" was almost a classic RPG -- and very good (not great). I put in nearly 100 hours.
"Assassin's Creed Odyssey" is a true RPG -- they "nailed it". A classic RPG for the ages. I put in 329 hours so far. THE one to buy in my opinion -- and in some reviewer's opinions. Normally, the Standard Edition is $59.95 its $15.00 today at the Ubisoft Store -- see attachment (I am playing/reviewing the Ultimate Edition and so some extras will be missing in Standard).
Huge realistic "go anywhere", "do anything" world -- the entire Greek World (not literally every city -- just the basic geography and major cities -- and some fake ones). The story has lots and lots of historical reference -- you will meet and work with many "historical" Greek persons (not all of them were alive at the same time in real life -- but are in the game). You are a Spartan; but, you have free choice as an independent individual Assassin. You decide who to help, who to hinder, who to kill, who to save, how to do it, etc. etc. -- true individualized Role Playing.
You travel on foot, by horseback, by boat, by warship (that you own -- with some hand picked crew members), swimming, diving deep, etc. The fighting is very interesting if one gets into how to use the Assassin's skills.
That's enough
Edit: And, eventually, you will find the true "Greek Gods" and what they "were then and still are today" (the Assassin's Creed stories are a trip through time -- starting in the present day).
