Hiding in the bushes
I knew this version existed for some time, but never seen it in action. Today I was able to get it to run.

Amazing Dam, seeing your F-117 video on YT made me tough on MarkG F-117 remake. How that project ended?

An unfulfilled dream that I wasn't in the least bit qualified to realize. But I stress "wasn't" as in past tense, the red tide is turning and I shall not go gentle into that good radar infested night! It ain't over 'till the fat lady sings (while there's a skinny lady who won't stop believing in me).

So stay tuned for an interesting thread by Christmas, detailing my game dev progress. loaded-santa

Sounds great, maybe you should create a mail list, so everyone interested are informed when you post an update?

I'm better off right now staying as disconnected with the outside world as possible, since I'm so easily distracted. But at some point I'm going to reopen a website which will include progress reports, and do whatever I can from there.

Hiding in the bushes
Hey Mark, do you plan to keep all the mechanics of the original game in your remake? Also probably you mentioned it already, but I hope you aim for F-19 depiction since it has bigger potential (gun, more bays, carrier capable) I know the F-117 Microprose version also had it, but it felt wrong to fly F-117 like that. I always went with realistic Lockheed variant and flew mostly Cold War scenarios.

Anyway the thought of getting modernized version (even if to mid/late 1990 gaming standards) of F-19 Stealth Fighter fills me with joy. The whole concept of this game was just brilliant. It was basically one of the first stealth games before Thief or Splinter Cell, I know it's different genre but still, playing cat and mouse with enemy CAPs and air defences to get that picture or land at that secret airstrip in the Persian Gulf on time never gets old.
