CONDOR Season 2 just premiered this morning, but not on AT&T Network where season 1 was, that is gone. It's now on HBO Max. The first 2 episodes of 8 are available now. The remaining 8 will be available weekly for the next 6 weeks. This is a great series BUT looking at the 2020 cast, the lady assassin is not back this season!

It's only "ruined" if Disney loses money. If it makes a considerable profit that's all Disney cares about as it should be since it's a business.

I'm sure if you asked the Disney execs if they ruined John Carter they would totally agree with you! smile

Have been riveted by the BBC police drama 'Line of Duty' series. Excellent acting and so many plot twists and turns throughout.
Viewed all 5 series 6 episodes each virtually back to back. Now just got two days to complete all the tasks i said i would do whilst my wife was working away for a week.

Excellent series. Just finished doing a run through about a month ago. Really draws you in. Highly recommend it as well.

Started watching F Is For Family on Netflix. Season 4 released yesterday. Just dipped my toe in watching the first 2 episodes, but it is hilarious. Love Bill Burr's comedy.

I saw "Ad Astra" last night. Impressive production values, but the story was otherwise pointless and left me feeling, "So, that's it?"

Also, while giving the appearance of trying to be realistic, the movie made so many scientific gaffes and impossibilities that I was left aghast at some of the things that occurred.

Two stars out of four.

Couldn't agree with you more. I so wanted to like it too.

Thanks for that, was trying to make up my mind whether or not to watch it.

It was worth a watch, but left me feeling kind of empty afterwards. Better than superhero crap, at least.

Haven't seen that one, but would heavily recommend "Spooks", another British production about modern day MI5 work. Basically, Jason Bourne without explosions and Karate, and a team of people rather than a single super agent. It towers above Homeland.

Spooks is one of my all time favorites. I have the 9 season box set. 10th season was only 5 episodes I think. They renamed it to MI-5 in North America. Spooks means something different here.
If you like Spooks, you will like Line Of Duty.

Watched Fury the other night on TV, one of the few movies I'll stop to watch if on TV. Still a good flick and Shia LeBeouf was very good in this.

Whoa! It’s nice to see you Top Gun. You’ve been gone for a while.

The Hunt for Red October

It's now 30 years old. Which means that I, too, am 30 years older than back then. eek

Household Six decided to stay for at least half an hour... and then stayed all the way. Not everything in this will make a dedicated Uboat fan happy. In fact, there's quite a bit to criticize. But the cast is impressive, Rick Ducommun still delivers his lines as the C-2 navigator (it's basically a reprisal of Art from The 'burbs), and say what you want, it simply is good entertainment without being entirely stupid. Of course, as soon as the first officer of the defectors starts talking about his dream living in Montana you just know he won't make it to the end. So, a fair dose of movie cliché in it as well. But how do you add the human element when you have only so many minutes of reel time to tell your story? Other directors and script writers often enough find no better way. Maybe they should. But old formulas get repeated because they work.

well, /rant

Had a huge crush on her as a kid and remember her small role in HFRO.

I have seen some weird and bizarre horror films but this one, I don't know what to say. Society (1989) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098354/ From what I found about it online, it's a cult movie?

Never heard of it and I don’t recognize a single person on the cast.
