I have owned every PlayStation from PS1. Will definitely buy a PS5. It will be backwards compatible with PS4 games, which is a nice touch. I missed that with the PS4.
In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

I haven't played on a console system since about 1993.

This is the first generation that I am not excited for. There is not one game announced that tempts me to buy a console. And I have owned every generation of PS and Xbox. Horizon is a killer app, IMO. If you didn't get a chance to play Zero Dawn I would suggest you check it out. If it is available at launch, I might pick up a PS5 and transfer the PS4 to my son, since all the games are backward compatible. And I haven't bought a console in a launch window since the PS2. Some of the apps they showed, and how they showed them, didn't do them any favors. The basketball game where they showed one guy, sweating, on a court? That was boring.

Most of the games that were shown looked like they were developed for 10-12 yr olds. So many flashy lights, psychedelic colours and cartoony graphics, helps me make my mind up not to buy one till next Chrismas, by them maybe they will be something decent on it. I thought the average age of gamers were in their mid 30's?
