I'm absolutely astounded that among all the thousands of gaming chairs available, that not a single one offers wheel/castor clamping.
It's my current No1 complaint when simming, that my rudder use often means my chair moves about.
I'd like to have wheels/castors on my chair because it's convenient for all non-simming activity, but I'd like to clamp them when I'm in position. Anyone know of a good solution?

I would buy the exact chair you want and then just get locking wheels to use instead of the ones that came with the chair. https://www.amazon.com/locking-chair-casters/s?k=locking+chair+casters

This is your answer. Get them yourself and they'll also probably be higher quality. Be sure to get a chair that has tilt, not just recline when it comes to racing/flight games. It doesn't have to be a "gaming chair" to get that. I got this one and I've been really happy with it, much more so than the last fully positionable one I got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/css/summa...?ie=UTF8&orderID=112-6488984-6234660It's a "Serta". Yeah, right! I paid about $100 as an amazon warehouse deal and did have to get the manf to send me a part for a broken handle, but it's been a surprisingly good chair, and much nicer in person than the pics. There are plenty of other chairs out there that use that exact same base IMO, so lots of options for being fully adjustable.
