I’ve revisited WOFF and my old campaign, so far surviving for almost two weeks, starting my career in April 1917. It’s not the best time to be a pilot and I’ve already had several very close calls (today barely gliding back to the British lines), and I wonder how long this campaign will be. How about you? How long can you usually survive for? Do you carry on for so long that you eventually retire your pilot? I think my longest British campaign only lasted about two months, and I had at least a dozen.

Also, picking RNAS units probably doesn’t help my chances biggrin

I've had a few last three months, but it never sees to go further than that.

I got fired as the door man at a sperm bank.
Apparently it's in poor taste to tell leaving customers "Thanks for coming."

Generally my campaigns last 3 to 6 months max as I usually find a good way to get myself killed by reckless or down right incompetent foolishness. I had a campaign last 72 hours due to an engine fire which incinerated my pilot. I tried to get him down from 8000 feet killing the engine, etc but I landed to late with 10% life and westward bound was the pilot. At present I have a 46 Squadron pilot in July 1917 and enlisted him in May, so I’m pushing two months with that pilot so in another month I’ll be in the zone of death as I call it. Cheers!
