When Casino Royale came out November 2006, I was more than old enuff for PG13 film and 3 weeks old enuff to drink. My sisters and brothers were minors. But you live at your Father's home you go by his rules. So you were 21 and your dad made you step outside because of that scene in the movie? Are you guys Mormon or something? He made all of us his children step outside. Simpler than just my sisters and brother and them whining loudly in a movie theater on why I get to stay. When we watch TV at night or live sports and commercials starts, sometimes he will turn the TV off : let your eyes rest for a few minutes. when he turns it back on, it has already resumed and we don't know how much we missed.

Same thing, just finished yesterday.
I was surprised that Netflix did not string out the series and dropped all ten episodes on the same day. Wheels

Blueberry (2004). Promising cast, promising and unique base story for a Western, occasionally grandiose visuals. Still, an existentialist meh.
Maybe I could have gotten more out of it had I been familiar with the Blueberry graphic novels (from the hands of Jean Giraud, no less, though he's misleadingly listed in the credits as Moebius when he actually undersigned the Blueberries as "Gir", reserving the Moebius handle for his other work). Standing on its own feet however the film is neither a convincing Western nor a convincing introduction to Shamanism, and much of the cast's great talent goes to waste. I can forgive the lack of a shootout showdown, but the shroom fueled spiritual end fight (if that was what I was supposed to read from the scenes) was, well, very psychedelic but equally not-making-sense. And it doesn't end where the film begins even though the opening scenes very much allude to it. Maybe, "overly ambitious" is the best way to characterize it. My friend assured me that the film would be so much better on a large screen in the cinema. I don't belive him. I think the visuals some 15 years ago made him believe that it was a great film and he now discovered that it wasn't. Not saying that it sucks, but in the end it probably would have been better left to the Blueberry graphic novels.

A 4th series? Awesome. Bill Burr is great. His 'Painter' rant was legendary. 'Did you paint or did you bust a nut'

Do you like action movies? "Extraction." It stars Chris Hemsworth of Thor fame. This isn't some brainless shoot-em-up like the Fast and Furious series which I don't care for. There isn't any funny banter going on during the action sequences. There's hardly any humor it in, at all. It's gritty and violent as Hell. Good story, acting, and the camera work, during chase scenes, is impressive. Watch this.

Yes. But I wouldn't say it's quite up to Sicario's level, but it's very good. Sicario is one of my favorite films.
