Yes, the water is going to look great with the Mariannas map. But the waters of the North Sea and the English Channel should not look inviting. The Jug looks fantastic, though.

I wasn't expecting it to be accurate down to every stone, so I'm pretty happy with the way it looks. It's the airplanes that are important to me. I'll take an excellant airplane with a good map over the the other way around, any time. Besides, if you get just too crazy with the terrain you're looking at a slideshow. I manage to play this sim, beautifully, on a seven year old AZUS laptop. And I have MSAA and shadows turned on. They seem to know how to optimize this stuff pretty well.
