Hi,

Is it possible to fly single missions, I mean, out of a campaign? I cannot find the option in the game menu.

And, are there any websites with these missions?

Thanks. Fantastic job, by the way

Hi D'Ace and welcome. You can open quick combat and set many different types of mission types and then use the save as a scenario button. Then you can fly that mission anytime you want, or use the Mission Editor and change things up the way you want.

Thanks Blade_Meister, I'm enjoying a lot, it's a great sim. My question is mainly about downloading single missions made by players, do you know any site? As the engine is CFS3 I imagine it should be possible to find sinlge missions, just to learn a bit how to use the mission editor (wich I haven't found yet!!)

One other thing is how to "avoid" the point of view to be centered again and again. I know it is a great feature, very original, but I don't have Track IR so I fly from cockpit, and some times annoies me. Do you know how to solve it?

Thanks!!

D'Ace, I don't think there are any single missions downloadable because WOTR is mainly about the Campaign. Jara has fixed the ME download that you asked about in the Mod thread. So, as I said earlier, you can create a Mission in the 'Quick Combat' builder, then save it as a 'Quick Scenario', open it with JJJ's ME and change things up how you like. That is pretty much it for single mission, but as I say the Campaign is where it is at. Campaign missions can be edited also. Have fun.

I am not sure how you would fix that as I use TIR5. Post your question in the Technical Questions at the top of the main WOTR page and I am sure Pol will be right along to tell you if 'panning' with a hi hat is possible in WOTR.

It can be done because it's been done in WOFF, but some one has to create it to start with, and since the big thing is the campaign in WOFF and WOTR, few people do it like IL2.

If you're referring to mouseview returning to the view straight ahead after looking away, open the file d3d8.ini (in your main installation directory) in Notepad and locate this entry:

; Time in seconds before mouse look automatically returns to centered view.
MouseLookResetDelay=5

Overtype the figure 5 with whatever you want the delay to be, in seconds and save the file. I don't know if there is an upper limit. AFAIK you can disable mouseview, but the centring effect can only be delayed.
