Although the changes I made in the pics above did include a small adjustment to the FOV similar to orbyxp's suggestion, you don't have to change it if you do not want to. However, you may have to adjust the X, Y, and Z values, accordingly.

@BB,
Sorry, I have answered to your first posting, haven't seen the second one. Your mod-idea is good and of course everybody can decide.
Greetings!

Adger, you had to come in and spoil all the fun, mate! Unfortunately, view changes in the .xdp file and TrackIR do not seem to get along. For whatever reason, getting the changes to take effect requires you to touch a key on the number pad. But TrackIR has to disable the number pad in order to work. So, for right now, I can't change the view for users who use TrackIR.

Sorry Bob, yep it occurred to me because if I set the fov back in Jara,s multi mod it works but..as soon as I centre the trackir I cannot get the view back it seems like trackir resets everything (view wise) mate.

Lean forward when you reset trackir and when you lean backwards the camera will be further back.You can also setup trackir so that it only moves forward/backwards the same amount that you have set with the mod so you can quickly reset it to same place each time. Can you explain the bolded part? I'm not sure how to do set up TrackIR to do this.

I think you can disable/enable TrackIR with a keyboard key while flying (I think mine is F9 -- I don't remember if that's the default). That might enable you to use the fixed head positions (like the F6 gunsight view) withour TrackIR immediately resetting it. True, but then you can't swivel your head around. But then if you re-enable TrackIR and center the view, it goes back to the default view.

That is like trying to teach someone how to install windows over the phone LOL.I'll try though.Z axis is the one you wanna tweak here as that is the forward/backward axis.The small window in bottom left of trackir screen is where you can tune the axis to your liking.Right above the graph and on left side you will see an option "axis". By default it is set to yaw axis so click on it and then choose Z axis.Next step is right below the where you clicked to change to Z axis is two green arrows,one up and one down.They make the axis more and less sensitive aka your virtual head will move a large amount or a very small amount when you lean forward and back.Play around with clicking them to see what I mean.Most likely you wanna click the down arrow to make the Z axis move less in game. Next step is go in game and then Alt/Tab out of WOFF......click the arrows(again make sure Z axis is the one you are changing)...back into game and see how far the Z axis moves with each change.You will see what I mean when you try it yourself. What you are trying to do here is to have the Z axis move just enough so that when you lean forward,press trackir reset and then lean back the view matches what you have with the option above.
