I love his mountain bike he designed for his son years back. Even by today's standards, it was way ahead of anything out today.

Nah, the Vipers interesting but just way too OTT.
The Super Six is a cool classic bike thats everyday usable and would make people take a second look when they realise there's something not quite right about it.

oh I agree, viper is totally OTT (probably should have used more smilies )
defo see where you are coming from wrt Z1, it does look 'factory'.
If it was me I'd probably be looking at a Rickman frame (or similar) for anything more than occasional use- but that would loose the looks frown
