Watching the UK Govt official talking about the methods used to count the UK Covid-19 deaths on the lunch time news on BBC2 today, they are taking the seasonal average and only counting the number in excess of that.

Then he went on about how the underlying non covid-19 deaths were much lower than that they would normally be between 1st January and 1st May compared with previous years..

It depends where the deaths occur. Here is the CDC weekly updates death toll by State. The percentage of expected deaths is what you look at. The expected deaths percentage is defined as all deaths, including covid.

Scroll down to Table 2. You will see that as of May 12, the vast majority of States are either at their expected number of deaths, or under.

So, it seems that Covid has had very little impact in nearly all but a few States, and NYC.

Our local hospital has all been tested and there have been zero cases of infection amongst the staff and doctors so far as of yesterday, sis in law was one of the last tested. The total number of deaths is 8,903 out of 54,288 cases with 14,111 recovered, if you deduct the average number of deaths per year at this time there are around 450 in excess of the average for this time of year, in our region the total death toll is still below the average for this time of year and there are 2 infected patients in the covid-19 wards in the hospital.

I took my son to the hospital yesterday to get his wisdom teeth pulled and we had to go through a strict routine where we were issued with PPE and tested, we were both a little warm from the sun in the car but our core temperatures were normal and allowed to proceed to the car park, he had the operation and I picked him up a few hours later.

Some significant news coming Monday. 6 study press release, highlighting the success of Dr Glanville's lab made antibodies. He stressed a while ago this is a corona killer.

That's what they were handing out at the hospital when we were there yesterday, we can pick up a free one from the local govt building in the next town, and they are also being distributed at two of the local stores in this town.

If you are needing to wear those often, or for a long time at once, use a back of head strap to relieve the pressure on the ears.

Also make sure you are wearing it right. Not like the 'expert' on the Covid taskforce who had it upside down and out of place.

Not only Dr Glanville, but now a second company just announced 100% effective antibodies. I find the timing interesting as they both announce the same weekend.

However, Dr. Glanville's tests have already gone beyond the test tube and have been tested on hamsters. He's ahead of the game.

I recommend to wait until thousands of scientists have run millions of "scientific method" tests. Then, when the global economy is dying...

Great article on Dr Glanville's journey to create an antibody for covid

https://www.ourworld.co/the-quest-for-the-single-antibody-to-end-the-covid-19-pandemic/

Goals:

1-Create an antibody that can be given to people already very sick with corona. Begins working in 20 min.

2-Antibody that can be used as a prophylactic offering protection up to 10 weeks.

3-Make enough to be ready by fall on a worldwide stage.

4- Affordable, only one dose is needed. Goal of $100 per dose

5-Continue work on a permanent universal corona vaccine.

It appears.that he has reached goals 1 and 2.

I've been using a cloth head wrap with a 1/4th blue shop towel folded into it covering my mouth. Works 1000% better than those masks do IMO.

What is your opinion based on. A cloth mask stops virtually 0% of virus particles based on the scientific tests that I have seen. It does prevent mouth expressed moisture from exposing those around you but it is no substitute for a medical grade mask. Btw, those cloth face masks are to protect others from you as opposed to the other way around.

Was at Walmart. They doing this now with these signs on the floor.

[Linked Image] [Linked Image]

Like this I want cookies but I don't want to go down to the next aisle, walk the whole thing to the end; come to the beginning of this aisle and walk the entire thing to get the cookies. No one was paying attention to those signs and were going the wrong way. So I parked my cart outside of it and walked up and grabbed the cookies.

Some guy with a lot more than some super flu to worry about once said;

"We have nothing to fear but fear itself."

I'd be out right now, continuing my week long support/passive resistance at my local eating/drinking establishment that is ignoring the no bar stools rule imposed in FL, at least my county. Was literally wall to wall Wed night and I was right in the middle of it, seeing friends, making new ones. Spent too much of my stimulus stash so taking the weekend off.

The resistance to unconstitutional "fake regulations" is spreading and that is a good thing. Everybody with an agenda, be it more money, more grants, more raises, and especially more votes is inflating this virus to encompass everything from true virus only deaths, which is looking more and more like a tiny percentage, to freakin dog bites and everything else under the sun. Oh, and because Trump of course. rolleyes

edit: Sorry if I got a little too political, but it is becoming more and more more of a political issue than a public health issue, in my ignorant opinion.

Even my college classes are being affected, and mine have ALL been online since I started on my Bachelors program. MANY people are using this as an excuse to stay at home, and make the same or more money than what they were making when it started.

I watched the video.

Cute girl, glad she is ok.

Who's it from? Wa Po? Now there's a reliable source.

Any unknown pre-existing conditions?

She is representative of what? Your average Covid patient? Or infectee?

More fear mongering...
