Pure awesome I love that trio's guest appearances in Discovery - they deserve a show of their own.
It seems they are also making a Discovery movie (TV movie probably, to air on CBS All Access) between season 3 and 4 of Discovery. It was due to start filming when the Covid19 stuff put a hold on things.

S2 was exceptional, I had little doubt they would do this. It's great news, I just wish it would be coming out right now. They're setting up a full year of ST shows, a wise move so people like me won't just cancel right away after watching a show. LOL Pike had some great lines in season 2 of Discovery too. I hope they have the same writers.

Pike was the only bright spot in Discovery, this could be the Trek I've been hoping for.
Well the Trek I've really been hoping for is the Klingon centric series that Dorn has been trying to sell. He's got to be a little pissed if they do all these other sries and continue to snub him and his idea.

I have to check where it'll air internationally. Never watch Rick & Mortis, but I'll give this a shot If nothing else it will make "Pureblood Trekkies"'s heads explode.

The economics of streaming are radically different from those of traditional network and cable TV so CBS might actually be able to avoid franchise fatigue this time around.

I'd rather have one good ST show rather than 5 middling to terrible ones.
+1
