Yes, I've always been fascinated by how that works with so many celebrities where they have a rather large body of distinguished work but are mostly remembered for one thing. A perfect example that comes to mind is Roger Moore. He had already been acting for over 20 years when he got the role of James Bond but that role is overwhelmingly what he is remembered for.
