Ford vs Ferrari aka Le Mans 66 with Christian Bale and Matt Damon is the third good car racing film in movie history (the others being the 1956 Grand Prix and Rush (2013)).
Yes, yes, yes. Le Mans from 1971 had good racing scenes, but it wasn't a good film. You can't leave inventing the script to the cutter.
Gad it's so syrupy and it tastes of Little House on the Prairie
I had an ex-girlfriend who absolutely was addicted to those Hallmark romance movies. It can't get any cheesier than that.
She watches those Hallmark romances a lot and in the next minute she is watching Tyrant …
She is on season 5 of the Hallmark series and now complaining that it's too cheesy and that it lost the grit it had in season 1 & 2 which was what she liked about it
For myself I'm finally getting round to watching season 2 of Lost in Space, at least it gives me something to do while transferring VHSc video tapes to digital

I just watched the trailer and here's my take on it:
The premise is quite interesting and has been done by other tv shows BUT I don't care at all for the sitcom-like tone. For me it's a complete turn off so I'll be skipping.
“Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.”
Watched Aliens, and I think I'll stop there. Alien and Aliens were such great classics the rest of the franchise just can't fill their shoes.
I'll second that recommendation of Bosch on Amazon. It's a solid cop show where they don't just figure the case out in a neat 40 minute episode It usually takes the whole season. It reminds me of The Wire in that regard.

Both the Alien and Terminator franchises went downhill after each of their first two films for exactly the same reason: The studio heads wanted to see how much revenue they could squeeze out of the franchise regardless of whether or not they could still write good scripts. While not a movie, the most extreme case of this I've seen is with the AMC series "The Walking Dead".

"Better Call Saul" season 5 is pretty good, so far. The first four seasons were a waste of time, but necessary to follow what is happening in the fifth season. Basically, this season is becoming what the show should have been all along.
Upload is not your usual sitcom watch the first episode they are a little less than 30 mins, it has a number of great moments and the premise is rather unique

Watched it a couple times already, wishing for season 6.
I just watched "Predestination." A time travel movie that enjoys screwing with your head.

The season 3 finale of "Westworld". This season did not disappoint me at all and now I get to wait 2 years for season 4. Yay!!!

I guess you've been busy watching other things or Westworld really hasn't been grabbing your interest that much.

Season 6 is coming but it's supposed to be the last one.

A little bit of both but mainly the latter. This season just not doing for me. I wanted to see nothing but Dolores in the real world kicking butt. We had enough exposition and development in the previous 2 seasons. We don't need any more. This season has only been good when Dolores is on screen and in action. The rest is just moot.
