Try opening viewui.xml --> found in the OBDWW2 Wings Over The Reich folder. --> with notepad++ ---> make a back up first. The very first line is: <VirtualCockpitView FovScale="1.0" RotationRate="0.5" TranslationRate="0.5" VerticalLimit="0.3" LateralLimit="0.3" LightColor="255 50 50" DrawCockpit="true"/>
I am sure you could have some fun here and get in some trouble! Hence the back up. Have fun.
^^ Jaras work comes massively recommend by me Jskibo, simple to set up and incredibly easy to understand.
@ Jara ..any chance of something like the pilot log editor for WOTR like you have made for WOFF? It's a great piece of work and thank you for all the modding that you do for the community
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
Would love to try try the WOTR Multimod, its had great reviews but have downloaded it but there is no .exe file. I know I'm missing something but I'm really stuck. Could someone please walk me through the setup sequence.
Thanks for the prompt reply but even when i followed your link still no luck. Seems no matter what Browser i use none support java.
Evidently, you did not read this Readme properly. You have to install Java runtime manually (in case you have Windows 10) and double click on *.jar file in windows explorer. No browser!
Sorry. That was my fault for being to eager. Right have downloaded Java Runtime manually for Win 10. Unzipped the WOTR Customiser.rar file. Double clicked on the WOTR_Customiser.jar file and nothing. Its almost as if she starts to execute then stops.
Thanks. I hope someone can. I've followed various fixes concerning problems opening .Jar files in Windows 10 and even used Jarfix but to no avail. I noticed that jskibo even said he had fun trying to open that type of file.
I have Win10 and work without Java, because I got problems once (fortunately long time ago). So you can change the view about the pilot seat settings alternatively. F.e. you move your seat back, so you have a more distant cockpit-view, see more surroundings in front of you but you don't change the zoom-factor (with change of FOV you change the zoom-factor too). And so you keep the real visual distance to the objects around you.
