I notice the sale is on and I'm looking through the list to see what takes my fancy.

To anyone who already owns it what can be done with the JU-52 in both MP and SP? I'll be honest I think I've only ever seen one in MP.

Out of the 5 aircraft I don't own,this is the only one that interests me and maybe I should just buy it for that reason.

I see Flying Circus is 50% off,I'm still not convinced about that one.

If you do VR it's a must IMO.

I've never been into WWI flight sims much but FC changed that for me.

The Ju52 is mostly just used in MP. You can fly troops and equipment from field to field to meet victory objectives. But it has to be scripted. I think you can also paradrop supplies to tanks to boost their defense (again, has to be mission scripted). its a fun plane to fly though.

Flying circus is a lot of fun! at 50% off its worth it. Still no SP campaign though but you can use pat wilsons (sp) campaign generator with it afaik.

The Aunt Ju is really good with PWCG ..supply drops,paratroop drops sorry i play SP only not MP.

Just bought it, haven't tried it yet...

I did purchase it in the end and had a quick go with it in MP. Something was wrong,I couldn't throttle up all 3 engines and ended up just taxing around the airfield like an idiot. It showed the engine rpm was increasing but then it just went back to idle. I'll have to look into it unless I want to deliver the supplies by road.

Never had that problem with single and double engine aircraft.

Zero key to select all engines maybe?

Good thought F4U but it wasn't that. I did get airborne by slowly advancing the throttles,however when I Ianded and tried to take off again when I throttled up the numbers on the RHS of the screen spool up to 100% but then they went down to idle again all on their own. I'm playing in easy mode and as I said I've never had this issue with any of my other aircraft.

No prop pitch?

"Airplane has separate pneumatic wheel brakes. To brake left or right wheels, move their corresponding left or right engine throttle to 20% or less. Setting the central engine throttle to 20% or less will brake both wheels. Maximum braking efficiency can be achieved by moving the trottle all the way down. In the sim, you can also use the brake buttons to move left and right engine throttles to braking position."
