People taking their carry-on luggage with them during an evacuation. Bah! I have no words to express my disgust. They kill people behind them, and should be treated as such in the aftermath of an evacuation.
In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

I wouldn't want to be a Russian aviation pilot: If they abort a landing, all costs for the second attempt come out of their pocket and gets registered as something bad in their personnel file, so when they have to make an emergency landing in an aircraft 1600kg overweight and with 7 beaufort of crosswind, they do not dare/have not been trained to go around for another attempt.
.... Interesting, where did you get this information? Thanks, Conky

Details about the crash can be found in the letter of recommendation that the russian FAA sent to the Ministry of Transportation: https://bazanpa.ru/rosaviatsiia-pismo-niskh-1566502-ot17052019-h4397470/ , a good summary of which is the russian Wikipedia page about the crash: LinkAs for the Aeroflot pilots not being supported by the airliner to do a second attempt is from a video that Mentour Pilot made, I distinctly remember Aeroflot using that practice next to other airlines since it surprised me a national airliner wouldn't support safe practices (trying again when the landing looks to be compromised) and punish the crew for it.

I remember that one source have provided information, that 1/3 of passengers was dead or passed out because of hard landing. but I agree with your point, obviously.

I do not think this should be legal? Here it would not be. But internationally?
