So DCS is allowing free weeks with various modules, last week was the Spit this week it's the Fw-190 A8, next week the Sabre etc.. However it seems that once you install the module to try it DCS flags it because you don't have a serial number and tells you it will be disabled. Not only that you can't join Pure Client servers until you actually dig into the files and delete it. What is wrong with this company? I feel this is such a poor way to do this, and there is no instruction or warning about it. Anyone else having this issue?

yeah I looked deeper you can toggle a disable of the module but the 109 K4 is now the new one and I get both a time for the module "2d36hr" kind of thing and a "this module will be disabled" underneath. I have all this time on my hands and this sim is a Major PITA I cannot get any aircraft to fly straight, I mean I even disconnected my joystick because I thought there was something wrong and it still climbs dives yaws or banks no matter how I attempt to trim at any throttle setting. I don't have this problem in IL2 BoS or RoF I'm hobbled by my TracIr and X52 dying on me so I'm stuck with a Logitech 3D and keyboard, sigh. I'm really wanting to fly the sabre but I can't see purchasing it till I can get the sim running smoothly

It is only 2 days per module, not enough time to download and get a feel for them. I didn't even bother. I misspoke, I thought it was longer but what I had to go through to make my install pure client was enough to scare me off, I spent half the day repairing and it was still corrupted took at least 4 times to get it so I could go online again. And I still have trim issues.

If you go into your control settings -> "Axis Tune", you can set a curvature so the stick isn't as sensitive, that should help quite a lot. yes I'm familiar with tuning I do it in all my flight sims, this one baffles me as I said I unplugged the joystick to see if it was the issue and I still cant get any A/C to fly straight using just trim and the arrow keys to fly I should be able to get a jet with no torque to worry about to fly straight and level, am I wrong?

With just my keyboard, I just tried the Su-25T Free Flight mission and had no issues controlling the aircraft and getting it to fly straight, so I'm at a loss of what the issue could be. Yeah me too, it just doesn't make sense.

I think I have figured it out. After digging through DCS forums I discovered that others had some trim issues tied to force feedback being enabled. Sure enough it was on in my game and shutting it off seemed to alleviate 99% of the issue. I'll take it as a win.

DCS has become a very enjoyable product Thankfully I've learned to look at his forum through a Bizzaro World lens. I understand. Oden
